Deserving of your patronage. RBT hosted our holiday party of 15 people. Berta was easy to work with and accommodating. The staff were amazing, despite being busier than usual on the day of our event. The food is great and generously portioned! It may look like a small, townie bar, but it is a real community establishment with passionate staff. Please check them out!

Date night with my honey. Hands down the best food in the area. Service was great & food was amazing. We shared the Grilled Octopus, Portuguese Steak & Steak a La Berta and we loved all of them! The octopus was divine, the best we’ve ever had!! The flan was simply delicious too! Definitely one of our favorite restaurants! Can’t wait to go back!

I can't express how amazing this restaurant is! You are greeted by a super friendly staff member as soon as you walk in the door. There is plenty of seating, so little to no wait. The bar area is huge and very comfortable. One of my favorite parts, they have hooks to hang your purse! The food was top notch and at a very nice price. I went with the grilled octopus and my husband chose the Portuguese steak sirloin. Legit the BEST octopus I have ever had and I've tried it at many restaurants! The Portuguese steak was delicious and the egg was cooked properly...which is apparently tough for most restaurants to achieve. The Portuguese sangria was good. 100% will be back very soon, good thing the octopus is on the regular menu and not a special...unlike most Portuguese restaurants.

Came across this place from a video review posted on Instagram. I decided to take my mom yesterday for Mothers Day. I seriously can't wait to go back. If you are a fan of Portuguese food, make it a stop on your list. Started off with an order of the Shrimp Mozambique, which was very good and spicy ( i should have gotten an order just for me, lol). I posted a picture of my meal which was the "Steak a la Berta" which was a Sirloin topped with a fried egg, bacon wrapped dates, served with a side of brandy based sauce, fries and rice. So much flavor, and very filling. My mom chose a cod special that was on the menu, which she was very happy with. Side note on the service: the waiters/waitresses were all very good and attentive. The hostess ( didn't catch her name, she might even be an owner or manager) was VERY helpful. English isn't my moms first language, and the hostess spoke Portuguese and was able to help her with how the food was prepared and then talked to her a bit and made her feel comfortable. The place is nice and clean as well. I will definitely make it a point to come back, best of luck to them all.

My wife and I have been coming here for a few years now, as "sporadic regulars." Every visit to Red Bridge has been during lunch or early dinner time. We sit in the restaurant area, not the bar. The food and service are always excellent! We both ordered the Portuguese soup, which was very good. Entrees were the Portuguese steak, one with green beans sub for fries, and one with brussel sprouts sub for fries. Steak was medium as ordered and delicious. Dessert was Creme Brulee and a peanut butter toffee pie with almonds. Come in and enjoy, don't let a few grumpy reviews tarnish your opinion. We have never had a bad meal or experience here.

RI Food Fight Big Burger Blowout brought us to this hidden gem in East Providence. This was our second stop on the tour this month. Very solid offering. We will be back. The Chipotle Burger is amazing. Don’t miss out with the dessert tray. The Apple Crisp is awesome!
